okay so have any of you heard about this poll dealing with homework for kids? Being a teacher, I have. It is so stupid. Kids say there's too much, parents disagree. I want to now what these kids are whining about. They have it so easy now. They don't know what homework is. Hell, they have the stupid internet to help them. When I was in school, we hardly knew what a computer was, much less how to use it. I hear it every day. I get so sick of the whining and low achievers I could scream most days. On another note, saw a copy of a bill going through the house wanting to link ACT scores to the CATS tests here in KY. The state wants to mandate that all juniors take the test and have it paid for by the state. There go my taxes. If the kids are whining about the simple homework we give them now...just wait til that hits.

I agree. Kids are trained from the minute they are born to expect handouts, free rides, and a life of ease. I am sick of hearing how hard school is, when our test scores and entrance exams keeping hitting all-time lows. Oh, and don't get me on taxes for schools. What happened to all that lottery money we were promised? Go ahead allow casinos in Kentucky and the schools will become more like mental institutions with doped up kids while every river town will become overpopulated with the degraded wastes of society. Ridiculous...
