Cruise Preparations

So I know I have been so lax in posting anything on here in quite some time but life has been keeping me pretty busy. I survived the root canal with minimal pain, nothing the pain killers could not take care of. Tennis season has officially started although we went 0-3 this first week...maybe it will get better after Spring Break. And now the time for my cruise has arrived. When I signed up for this back in January, I thought it would never get here, now I am so anxious and nervous and excited it is killing me! I have to begin packing tonight and making a shopping list for tomorrow. So don't want to forget anything although I know I will.

My cruise makes stops in Cozumel, Costa Maya, Grand Cayman, and Belize. I am playing golf in Cozumel with three unknown people. No, I know their names and have spoken to them, but don't know them that well. Should be an interesting round, me and three attractive men...yum! Check out this course...it is so beautiful!

Shopping in Cozumel and Grand Cayman and visiting an island Caye Caulker in Belize.

It has been fun chatting with the people going online and of course doing a little flirting. In fact, found out last night I have been nominated as co-director of a Naked Volleyball tournament on the last night. Now won't that be interesting.

There is so much preparation to do, I am just putting it off. I need to color my hair again - yes this red hair is so out of a bottle and they have quit carrying the one I use so I have to get something different. That sucks! Gotta get the nails done tomorrow so I have cute feet for all those open toed shoes and sandals I'll be wearing all week. Found out I need to pick up my bridesmaid's dress tomorrow too. Hope it still fits! LOL! Gonna be a busy day tomorrow. Got get the nails done, pick up a bridesmaid's dress, have lunch with a friend, take my roommate shopping for Keeneland attire (which according to those going, it is a MUST!). Sorry I won't be joining them but wouldn't trade that for this any day!

I hate packing for weekend trips and this is for a whole week, just know I will forget something. Started making a shopping list for the already crowded day before departure and just keep adding to it. I borrowed my friend's monstrous suitcase, I think you could hide a small person in it. Gotta lay all the clothes and stuff out tonight and figure out what's missing. Fun job! And what am I doing...typing on here...what priorities I have.

Anyway, you will most definitely not be hearing from me again for at least a week, but I'm sure I will have pictures and stories to share at that time. I will be thinking of you and toasting you
with every margarita I drink!

Pray for me...

One of the things I hate most in the world is the dentist. Yes, the dentist.

Just thinking about going to the dentist makes me nervous. Last week, I broke one of my back teeth and it was sharp and jagged so I had to go. The dentist was very nice (they always are until...) and looked at my tooth. Come to find out, there was a problem. Tomorrow morning I have to have a root canal at 8 am.

Now for someone who hates going to the dentist, sheer is setting in.

The thought of someone sticking a in my gums and shooting novocaine in just makes me want to even now.


So please pray that I survive this horrible experience!
